“Limor* is an adorable toddler with big soft eyes that seem to notice everything around her. Born with a complex medical condition, Limor arrived at ALEH at just a few month of age, weighing like a premature infant and displaying signs of severe developmental delay.
Limor lives in ALEH’s High Dependency Hospital Wing at ALEH Negev. Extremely undersized for her age, she is fed through a gastro tube and requires ongoing respiratory treatment. Thanks to continual early intervention therapy and excellent medical care, her development has been remarkable. At age 2, Limor joins the village kindergarten program and participates in afternoon activities. She responds to her surroundings and has learned to crawl and sit. Recently she has even begun to eat some of her meals by mouth.
Every afternoon, Limor enjoys therapeutic play in the High Dependency’s Gymboree Corner. There she has the opportunity to experience playtime like other children her age, even as she practices important daily skills and physiotherapy exercises in a fun, enjoyable manner.
YOUR support will help Limor develop to her potential and continue smiling!
Please come visit Limor the next time you’re in Israel. You are sure to fall in love with this very special girl!
